City Services
CITY SERVICES
Our community is located within city limits.
Encino Ridge neighbors should call the city (311) to report issues (such as a noise violation, streetlights that needs changing, potholes, illegal street parking issues, reporting an animal in distress, etc.).
Please do not assume that someone else reported an issue. We need all of us to work together to keep our community looking and running well. 311 is the catch all number to call for city services and they will help to answer your questions or take a report for a department to follow up.
For city services, you can download the app or report an issue online or by calling 311. You can also check to see if something has already been reported.
GARBAGE and RECYCLING
Our garbage and recycling are picked up by the city services. Your garbage bill is added to your CPS utility bill. Monthly rates can be found here. If your trash can blows away and you cannot find it after driving the community, you can call 311 to replace it. Make sure to look for it first though because if it has been moved due to weather and you replace yours, that means someone else has to call and have them pick up the extra cart they found as well.
To downsize your cart and pay a smaller fee, call 3-1-1. There are no additional fees for collection of the blue recycling and green organics carts.
Our Garbage Day (brown container) is now Thursday. Place container out the night before or by 7am that morning.
Our recycling (Blue container) and organics (Green container) day is now Tuesday. Place the container out the night before or by 7am that morning.
Bulk Pickup and Brush Pickup are scheduled twice a year at no extra cost. City Workers will put a door hanger on your front door well identifying the exact day. You can look up the approximate schedule by typing in your address

if you have questions about your account or have a concern within the community common areas. you would call our HOA Property Management Association. Contact Us for more info.
We have gas lines in our community. This is a very real safety issue.
Always call 811 to have the city map out the electric, gas, water and other lines before there is digging of any kind. Please familiarize yourself with this information and remember to call before you dig. If you see or hear a gas leak, please follow these directions:
1. Stop working and immediately leave the area of the leak.
Do not turn electrical appliances or lights on or off or use any device that could generate a spark.
Do not use your cell phone or a landline. If you are currently on a landline, do not hang up.
Do not smoke, or make a spark or flame.
Do not start your car engine or any mechanized equipment.
Move upwind of the leak.
2. Once you are a safe distance from the suspected leak, report the leak to 911.
Contact 811 or call the gas company directly to report the leak.
Remain a safe distance from the suspected leak until someone from the gas company or an emergency responder says it is safe to return.
Warn others to stay away from the area.
