SOCIAL EVENTS                                                    
If you have an idea for a social event, please speak up! It just takes a good idea and a few volunteers to help organize it. Our HOA budgets 4 thousand per year for social events. Social events are a great way for us to meet our neighbors and have some fun together. All of us are eligible to submit ideas and plan events as long as we have volunteers to organize it and carry it out. If you have a plan, please email it in for board approval so that the funds can be approved. Previous events included movie night in the park with raffle gifts and food and ice cream trucks; holiday parties and Halloween pizza parties.    
 
 
YARD SALES  
Two community-wide yard sales are sponsored by the HOA the third Saturday of the month in April and October. The HOA will take care of the advertising. Homeowners need to purchase their own yard sale permits through the city or at a local HEB customer service center.
 
FOOD TRUCKS
We used to have food trucks on the third Thursday of each month but we took a break due to lack of participation. BUT we can start it back up again if there is interest and support from the community. The most important thing is to ensure we will give the food truck enough business. 
 
The Social Committee can schedule a different food truck the third Thursday of each month starting in early Spring and running through October.  Restaurant quality food trucks parks next to the playground (on Diamond Chase) and orders normally run from 5pm until 7pm. If you would like to suggest a food truck or have feedback please contact the board members.
 
BOARD MEETINGS – 2026
HOA Board meetings are open to all residents and serve as the main opportunity that we have to talk to each other. Ever wonder WHY something happens or where our money goes? Or want to bring attention to an issue? Join our meetings! We actually have a good time and watch out for each other.
 
Meetings take place the last Wednesday of the month in January, April, and Jul starting at 6pm. A 4th Board meeting may be scheduled in the December timeframe to coincide with budget  planning. Detailed information is emailed out to the email on record with Trio (property manager) and announced on our social media pages.
 
ANNUAL MEETING
The 2026 Annual Meeting will be scheduled in the Fall. (Oct/Nov)
 
COMMUNICATION MEETINGS
Open communications meetings can be scheduled anytime. Encino Ridge HOA has its own zoom account (managed by board members not the property management company) and can help to allow groups to have a place to meet. It is a great way to talk with the board members directly on an informal basis.
